I am sure my dad never even had to sharpen them. Original pouch has all the features written on it so I won't bother writing anymore. They work remarkably well like the most high quality vintage hand tools do. Most newer tools don't quite compare.

These are about 50 years old. They work as good they look. These are really super. I am 66 years old.

Still in great condition as you can see. My father had them when I was a kid and passed onto me.
